-Pros: GREAT ride, smooooth, turns on a dime, safe, comfy, fits standard doorways, stylish, fun
Cons: basket- roomy enough for essentials, a little tough to fit large items (grocery bag)
Nothing can put a giddy smile on a mommy who has survived on bits and pieces of sleep for months at a time...except the Valco Twin Runabout!! This double jogging stroller is DIVINE! I can get out of the house without regard to the New England weather. My cheeks were aching from the smile that wouldn't budge as I floated down the freshly snow covered sidewalks with my runabout and two little girls! I could even get through the snow-plowed street edges. Be good to yourself (and your kids) and GET THIS DOUBLE JOGGING STROLLER! Fits through all doorways that we have passed and is far more plush and comfy than the Mountain Buggy. Great safety bar in front and so easy to adjust for different seat positions and harness strap heights. It has even tempted me into becoming a jogger..just because it's fun!
-Pros: Easy to fold and unfold, great steering, tires are very simple to remove and re-attach.
Cons: A bit heavy, bulky when folded with the tires on.
First and foremost, I had the opportunity to test this double jogging stroller against others. One of my children is 2 1/2 years old and VERY TALL, the other, a 4 month old baby. Therefore, I needed something that could fit both of them comfortably. This stroller is by far the winner in all categories. Super easy to fold and unfold, very sturdy, turns beautifully even in rough terrain (i.e. gravel); it is so smooth you can push it with one finger! Absolutely the best out there. I was impressed with the mesh fabric which keeps the children's backs cool. It comes with a mosquito net (very nice, fits nice and snug to keep away the buts)and a rain cover (didn't use this yet :-) All in all, you get a wonderful stroller at a good price
-Pros: Turns on a dime, looks good, easy to fold/unfold, high quality
Cons: no cup holder, needs a bit more storage
I had my eye on this stroller for months and did plenty of research on what was available in the twin stroller market. And I'm happy to say, I was right...this stroller ROCKS! My girls and I love it. It looks great, it turns on a dime, it fits through all standard doorways and it's such a pleasure to take out for a stroll. My MIL and SIL gave me a hard time about spending $500 on a stroller, but it was a smart purchase and a good investment. The only thing missing for me is a cup holder and a bigger storage basket. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

InSTEP Schwinn Free Wheeler Double - SC906 Jogger Stroller
Double Jogging Stroller
Pros
Swivel Canopy, Front swivel wheel, adjustable height handle, large basket, cushiony seats, easy close
Cons
No hard parent console, Seats bottoms tilt at an upward uncomfortable angle.
The Bottom Line
More pros than cons. The swivel canopy and front wheel are far more important than a place for drinks. Extremely well made- definetely worth the $$$.
Full Review
I am a Double jogging stroller fanatic, this is my 5th double stroller and my 2nd double jogger. I bought this double jogging stroller because it had 2 very key features I needed. #1 Absolute must have is a swivel canopy that is NOT permanently attached at the top. This stroller has velcro straps so you can un-attach it and it's on a hinge so you can swivel the canopy completely in front of the kids if you are walking into the sun. This by far is the #1 best feature and I am so surprised all strollers don't come that way. #2 Feature was the front swivel wheel. The wheel glides are amazingly smooth and it pushes far easier than a standard stroller. My other double jogging stroller had a fixed wheel and it was a major pain. Other great features of this double jogging stroller are a roomy and very accessible storage basket at the bottom, independent reclining seats. The seats have plush removable cushions on top. I have a 4 year old and he doesn't need to be strapped in for walks and you can easily tuck the harness straps behind the cusions so he doesn't sit on lumpy straps the whole time. The stroller handle has 3 adjustable height settings which is so nice. It is unbelievably easy to close, literally using only 1 hand.
There are only 2 things I don't like about it. I find the seats are fixed at an uncomfortable angle. The bottom of the seat tilts up quite a bit and my 1 year old folds in half unless he's in the reclined position. My 4 year old doesn't notice it so I would recommend this for children 18-24 mos minimum age. I think I'll have to put a blanket for my 1 year old to sit on until he gets big enough to tolerate the angle. The only other feature it doesn't have is a hard parent cup holder/console at the top of the handles. I bought a soft canvas one for $20 but it isn't nearly as nice as a hard one. Overall a VERY well made stroller, if it had a hard console and a straighter seat it would be perfect!
